Data Availability Search

Data Availability Search allows you to search for companies that have filed a certain statement or part of a statement in specified data period(s).

Access Data Availability Search from the Search Companies group button. This search option is also available within the Report Wizards.

 

  1. Choose from the following database lists display options:

  1. Select the desired product(s) for the data availability search. A maximum of 5 products can be included in the search. Use the Expand All Products button to assist in the data availability search.

  2. Select specific years or quarters for your search. Use the Select All and Clear All options to assist in your data period selection.

  3. Select a logical connection for the search:

  1. Optional: Set a default selection for any of the search options. Click to quickly set a default value. Selections are saved to the Company Searches tab in User Preferences.  

  2. Select the Search button to complete the search. The companies are placed in a temporary list called -Search Results- within Custom Lists. -Search Results- list is available for selection in BestLink for Excel reporting features.

 

When performing the Data Availability Search from the Tools, Options and Information section of a Report Wizard or Company Editor, the -Search Results- are placed within the Available Companies section of the selected BestLink for Excel feature.

When performing the Data Availability Search from the Search Companies group button, the Search Results page displays.
