Standard Report Task Pane

Update Standard Report

Standard Report Task Pane is available when the active worksheet contains a BestLink for Excel standard report created from Standard Report Wizard or Quick Reports - Standard Reports. The task pane allows you to quickly generate a new report for a company and/or standard report. To automatically show the Standard Report Task Pane, choose Show standard report task pane when the active worksheet contains a standard report on the General tab in User Preferences.

Access Standard Report Task Pane from the Task Panes group button.

 

The Change/Add Company option allows you to update the current standard report with a new company, or you can duplicate the active standard report with a new company.

    1. Type the company identifier in the Find a Company text box. Search by company name or AMB Number.
      Companies matching the search criteria display. Position your mouse pointer over a company to view company details including the type of company, domicile, and NAIC number.

    2. Select the desired company from the search results list.

    3. Select Duplicate Report or Replace Report.

    4. Click the Go button.
      The Data Retrieval Progress window displays a progress of the report request. Upon completion, the standard report displays for the selected company.

The Change/Add Report option allows you to update the current report with a new standard report, or you can add a new standard report for the active company.

    1. Select the desired category from the Categories list.

    2. Select the standard report from the Available Report list.

    3. Select the report type, if necessary.

    4. Select Duplicate Report or Replace Report.

    5. Click the Go button.
      The Data Retrieval Progress window displays a progress of the report request. Upon completion, the statement page report displays for the selected company.
