Select options to enhance the layout of your Schedule P custom report. Modify the default selections on the Schedule P tab in User Preferences.
Select Triangle Options: The following options apply to Custom Reports only.
Triangle Type: Specify the desired triangle type.
Triangle Data: Specify the desired basis for the report. The Gross Basis option is available for Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4.
Select File Layout
File Layout: Specify the layout for the Schedule P report.
Single Sheet: All Schedule P data will appear on one sheet. Choose to sort the data by Company, Line of Business, or Part. Additionally, each Standard Report will appear on its own sheet. All Financial and General Information fields will appear on one sheet.
Multiple Sheets: Schedule P data will appear on multiple sheets. Choose to organize the worksheets by Company, Line of Business, or Part. Additionally, each Standard Report will appear on its own sheet. All Financial and General Information fields will appear on one sheet.
Flat File: Flat File outputs one Schedule P data record per company, with each report component and data field placed in separate columns. Select the Flat File method for pivot tables. Additionally, each Standard Report will appear on its own sheet. All Financial and General Information fields will appear on one sheet.
Sort Lines of Business: Choose to sort the lines of business in alphabetical order or statement order.
Select Formatting Options
Numeric Data Format
Decimal Places: Select the number of digits to appear after the decimal place for all the financial data. By selecting zero, there will be no decimal places in the number.
Use Thousands Separator: Format financial numbers on your report with commas. Separate the number (in groups of three digits) with a comma.
Use Dollar Sign: Include a dollar sign with financial data.
Negative Numbers: Select a format for the negative financial data.
Data Alignment
Financial Data: Select if you would like the financial data to be left, center, or right aligned. Right is the default selection.
Non-Financial Data: Select if you would like the non-financial data to be left, center, or right aligned. Left is the default selection.
Row and Column Headings - Set the font style for row and column headers.
Data - Set the font style for data.
Text Control
Wrap column headers - Format headers to appear on multiple lines in a cell.
Autosize columns - Automatically adjust the column width to match the widest data item in the column.
