Loss Reserves (Schedule P) Company Profile

Loss Reserves (Schedule P) Company Profile features general information, Best's Ratings and analytical financial data for a quick visual representation of the company's performance. View AM Best Standard Reports or generate Schedule P triangle reports.

Access Company Profile from the Schedule P (Loss Reserves) option in the Explore Schedules menu.

 

    • Select a company from the drop-down lists.

      1. From the List Type drop-down option, select Custom Lists, Standard Lists, My Shared Company Lists, Public Shared Company List or Criteria Lists. Select Custom Lists if you wish to view -Search Results-.
        The selected List Type populates the Lists drop-down option.

      2. From the Lists drop-down option, select the company list you wish to view.
        The selected list populates the Companies drop-down option.

      3. From the Companies drop-down option, select a company to view the profile for the selected insurer.

    • Find a company.

      1. Click the Quick Company Search button.

      2. Use the Settings option to assist in narrowing down the results by AMB Number, NAIC Number, or FEIN Number for selection. Enter AMB#, NAIC#, FEIN, or company name. Enter at least 3 characters or digits to see companies matching the search criteria entered.

      3. Select the company of your choosing.

      4. Click the OK button.  

Create a report for the selected insurer. For more report options launch the Loss Reserves (Schedule P) Wizard.

    1. Make the following selections to create a report for the selected insurer.

      • Statement Year: Select the desired data year. Choose from 11 years of data.

      • Part: Select the desired part for the report.

      • Line of Business: Select the desired line of business for the report.  

      • Years: Select the number of desired years for the report. Ten or twenty years of data are available. Short-tail lines have ten years of data available.
        Note: The 20 Accident Years option is only available for selection when using the most recent statement year.

      • Triangle Type: Select NAIC or Actuarial.

      • Net or Gross Basis: Choose the desired basis for the report. This option is available for Part 2, Part 3, or Part 4.

    1. Click the Create Report button.

    1. Optional: Choose the Insert New Worksheet option to export the report on a new tab. If this option is not selected, the report is added to the active worksheet.

    2. Click the Export to Excel button to export the information.
