Use Industry Reports Wizard to quickly get a comprehensive picture of the industry. The Industry Reports Wizard guides you through the steps to create Best’s Market Share Reports or Best’s Market Expense Reports based on the leading writers, ranked by premiums written. Access is subscription based.
Access Industry Reports from the Report Wizards group button.

Select your report options. Select multiple reports, states/regions (Market Share Reports only), and lines to generate multiple Industry Reports simultaneously. One Year reports offer eleven individual years of historical data.
Select the report(s). Selected reports must be within the same product.
Click the corresponding checkbox to select a report.
or
Click the checkbox for the product to select all the available reports for that database.
If necessary, select the Year from the Data Year drop-down list. This option is only available for One Year reports.
Select AMB Financial Groups and Unaffiliated Singles or Affiliated and Unaffiliated Singles from the Company Types drop-down list.
AMB Financial Groups and Unaffiliated Singles - The report will contain groups with which member company data is consolidated by A.M. Best Company using standard interownership eliminations and companies that operate independently of other companies.
Affiliated and Unaffiliated Singles - The report will contain companies that are part of a larger group of insurance companies and companies that operate independently of other companies.
Select the amount of companies to view in the report from the Number of Companies drop-down list. Companies can be viewed in increments of 5 up to 200, 500 or All companies.
Optional: Select the Include Selection Total checkbox to add this option to the report. This option provides a summation of the companies within the report.
Optional: Select the Include Industry Totals checkbox to add this option to the report. This option includes Industry Total data.
Market Share Reports Only: Select the states, territories, and/or regions from the States/Territories/Regions section.
Select the lines from the Line of Business section.
Optional: Click the Save Defaults button to create a default selection for Report Population, Company Count, Industry and Selection Totals. Modify the setting on the Standard and Industry Reports tab of the User Preferences.
Optional: Choose Show the industry report task pane when the current worksheet contains an industry report. This option will display the Industry Report Task Pane when the active worksheet contains a market share or market expense report. Click the Save button to set a default preference for this option in the General tab in User Preferences.
Click Create Report. The report is limited to 200 worksheets.
The Data Retrieval Progress window displays a progress of the report request.
The Industry Reports window remains open so you can generate additional reports.
