Industry Report Task Pane

Update Industry Report

Industry Report Task Pane is available when the active worksheet contains a BestLink for Excel market share or market expense report created from the Industry Report Wizard. The task pane allows you to quickly modify the report components or generate a new report. To automatically display the Industry Report Task Pane, choose Show industry report task pane when the active worksheet contains an industry report on the General tab in User Preferences.

Access Industry Report Task Pane from the Task Panes group button.

 

Quickly change the current report's components or generate a new report for the selected industry.

    1. Modify the report components, as necessary:

      • Select the desired report from the report drop-down list. Only reports from the same product display.

      • If necessary, change the Data Year for One Year reports.

      • Select the amount of companies to view in the report from the Number of Companies drop-down list. Companies can be viewed in increments of 5 up to 200, 500 or All companies.

      • Select AMB Financial Groups and Unaffiliated Singles or Affiliated and Unaffiliated Singles from the Company Types drop-down list.

      • Market Share Reports Only: Select the state, territory, or region from the States/Territories/Regions drop-down list.

      • Select the line from the Lines of Business selection.

      • If necessary, modify the Include Selection Total option.

      • If necessary, modify the Include Industry Totals option.

    2. Select Duplicate Report or Replace Report.

    3. Click the Go button.
      The Data Retrieval Progress window displays a progress of the report request. Upon completion, the newly created or updated Industry Report displays.
