It houses two wholly owned subsidiaries, A.M. Best Europe - Rating Services Limited (AMBERS) and A.M. Best Europe - Information Services Limited (AMBEIS).

The primary operations of AMBERS relate to the issuance of insurance credit ratings. Today, the rating coverage of AMBERS includes several regional and national insurers, as well as global organisations, located throughout the EMEA region.

In addition to publishing credit ratings, AM Best is also a well-known and highly regarded insurance industry data provider and news publisher. AMBEIS primarily serves as AM Best's provider of information and news products for EMEA.
