The following rules and guidelines apply when performing text searches on the AM Best Web site:
Searching for Exact or Complete Phrases:
Search for a complete phrase such as General Insurance, by typing the text to search. The search engine will understand that you are looking for a phrase with or without quotation marks.
Example: General Insurance will return results that contain the exact phrase General Insurance (case does not matter).
Search Restrictions:
When searching for ratings, if the search criteria are too broad, a message will appear asking you to refine the search. From the Preferences page, change the default results setting.
Example: Searching for the single character G is too broad.
