Statement Search

Locate Fields Using Statement Page, Column & Line

Locate fields by page, column, and line from NAIC statement pages. View the fields as a temporary -Search Results- list or save the fields as a custom list. Use the temporary field list or saved field list to create Custom Reports.

Access Statement Search from the Search Fields group button.

1. Choose the database from the Select Product drop-down list. Financial Database access is determined by subscription.

2. Select the NAIC Page from the Select Page drop-down list. Page availability is determined by the selected database.

3. Optional: Select a column to limit the search to fields within the specified column.

4. Optional: Select a line to limit the search to fields within the specified line.

5. Select Availability Options:

• Include fields available in any data period - Select this option to search for fields available in at least one data period.

• Include fields available in the most recent data period only - Select this option to search for fields that are available in the current data period.

• Include fields available in all data periods - Select this option to search for fields that are available in all data periods.

6. Optional: Set a default selection for any of the search options. Click to quickly set a default search field. Selections are saved to the Field Searches tab in User Preferences.  

7. Click the Search button to complete the search.

When performing the Statement Search from the Tools section of the Custom Report Wizard, the -Search Results- are placed within the Available Fields section of the wizard.

When performing the Statement Search from the Search Fields group button, the Fields Search Results page displays. 

When performing the Statement Search from Advanced Search, the -Search Results- are placed within the Fields section of the Advanced Search window.
