The Reinsurance Wizard guides you through the steps to create custom reports using multiple years and multiple parts for Best's Schedule F and Best's Schedule S databases. Access is subscription based.
Access Reinsurance Wizard from the Create Reports menu or from the Explore Schedules menu.
Select Components to create a Custom Report or Template:
Select Database - Choose the Schedule F or Schedule S category. Only one category may be selected.
Select Report Type - Select the Report type. The report type you select determines the sequence of operations.
By Filing Companies - Create custom reports based on companies that file Reinsurance data in their Regulatory Filing.
By Reinsurer/Cedents - Create custom reports based on reinsurers filed within another company's Regulatory Filing.
View and Edit Saved Schedule F or Schedule S Custom Report Templates:
Retrieve and process a saved Schedule F or Schedule S template to refresh data for your custom report.
Click the My Templates button.
Select a previously created Schedule F or Schedule S report template in the Select a report template below to view details section.
The details for the selected template appear.
View or Edit a Report Template:View or Edit a Report Template:
1. Click the Load button.
The report template loads the previously saved report components. The details for the selected report will appear in the Current Report Summary section.
2. Edit the report as necessary by changing report components.
Delete a Report Template:Delete a Report Template:
1. Click the Delete button to remove the selected report.
A confirmation box appears.
2. Click the OK button to continue or click the Cancel button to take no action.
Rename a Report Template:Rename a Report Template:
1. Click the Rename button.
2. From the Details for Report section, type the new name in the text box.
3. Click the Save button to apply or click the Cancel button to take no action.
Process a Report from a Saved Template:Process a Report from a Saved Template:
Click the Process Template button.
The report template loads the previously saved report components and processes the report for the current data. The details for the selected report will appear in the Current Report Summary section.

Reset Report Selections:
Click the Reset button to clear all selections and return to Companies tab.
