Reinsurance Report Wizard - By Filing Company

Reinsurance/Cedents (Optional)

This optional step is available when selecting By Filing Companies as your report type. If this step is skipped, all reinsurer/cedents for the selected companies are displayed in the report. This step allows for customization of the reinsurer/cedents displayed in the report.

Use any combination of the following options:

• Select All Reinsurers/Cedents - Use this feature to view and select specific reinsurer/cedents for the filing companies selected in the previous step. See Selecting Wizard List Items for additional information.

• Top and Ranked By: View the top reinsurer/cedents for the selected Ranked By option. The top search feature is available for all data years and can be combined with other filters. Top results are not viewable for modification.

• Search for Reinsurers/Cedents:

1. 1. Select search criteria using any combination of the following options:

      • Reinsurer/Cedent Name: Search for reinsurers/cedents by name using Starts With, Contains, or Exact Match.

      • Reinsurer/Cedent Number/ID: Locate reinsurers/cedents by AMB Number, NAIC Number, or ID.

      • Domiciliary Jurisdiction: Locate reinsurers/cedents that are domiciled within a specific state or country.

      • Best's Rating: Search for reinsurers/cedents by Best's Ratings. Rating information is based on current data regardless of the year selected.

      • US/Non-US: Filter the report to show only US or Non-US reinsurers.

      • Affiliation: Filter the report to show only Affiliated or Unaffiliated reinsurers.

      • Authorization: Filter the report to show only Authorized, Unauthorized or Certified reinsurers.

      • Account Type: Filter the report to show only General Account or Separate Account reinsurers.

   2. Click the Search button to locate the companies based on the criteria entered. The Available Reinsurer/Cedents section displays company information.

   3. Select the companies for the report. Position your mouse pointer over a company to view company details including the type of company, domicile, and NAIC number.
      See Selecting Wizard List Items for additional information. Use the Type-Ahead Find Feature to further assist in locating items.

• Save Reinsurers as a Custom Reinsurer/Cedent List:

Save the Search Results as a custom list.

1. 1. Select your list population. Save all available results or select the companies of your choosing.

   2. Optional: Save as a Custom List using the Save List option. The Save Custom Reinsurer List dialog box displays.

   3. Specify the list type.

1. 4. 1. Reinsurer List: Save the results as a Reinsurer List for use in Custom Reports. The FEIN/AIIN is saved with the company name.

      2. Company List: Save the results as a Company List. Only reinsurers with AMB numbers are saved to the Custom Company List. Use the Custom Company List in any BestLink page allowing for company list selection.

   4. Enter the name for your list in the text box.

   5. Click the Save button to complete the save process.
