Reinsurance Report Wizard - By Reinsurer/Cedents

Select Reinsurer/Cedents

Locate reinsurers filed within another company's Regulatory Filing. This feature allows for customization of the reinsurers/cedents displayed in the report.

 

  1. Select reinsurer/cedents using any combination of the following options:

Note: The top reinsurer/cedents list cannot be modified for specific filing companies.

    • Search Tab:

      • Reinsurer/Cedent Name: Search for reinsurers/cedents by name using Starts With, Contains, or Exact Match.

      • Reinsurer/Cedent Number/ID: Locate reinsurers/cedents by AMB Number, NAIC Number, or FEIN/AIIN.

      • Domiciliary Jurisdiction: Locate reinsurers/cedents that are domiciled within a specific state or country.

      • Best's Rating: Search for reinsurers/cedents by Best's Ratings. Rating information is based on current data regardless of the year selected.  

    • Reinsurer Lists Tab:

      • Existing List - Choose a company list from the Standard Lists or Custom Lists folder within the Reinsurer Lists section. Use the Expand and Collapse buttons to assist in locating the desired company list.

        1. Select a company list from the Reinsurer Lists section.

        2. Click and drag the list from the tree view in the Reinsurer Lists section to the Selected Reinsurer/Cedents section.

      • Customized List - Choose a previously created company list from any available folder in the Reinsurer Lists section. Use the Expand and Collapse buttons to assist in locating the desired company list.

        1. Double-click a list from the appropriate population. The selected list populates the Available Reinsurer/Cedents section.

        2. Select the companies for the report. Position your mouse pointer over a company to view company details including the type of company, domicile, and NAIC number.
          See Selecting Wizard List Items for additional information. Use the Type-Ahead Find Feature to further assist in locating items.

  1. Click the Search button to locate the companies based on the criteria entered.

    The Available Reinsurer/Cedents section displays company information.

  1. Save Reinsurers as a Custom Reinsurer or Company List:

Optional: Save the Search Results as a custom list.

    1. Select your list population. Save all available results or select the companies of your choosing.

    2. Optional: Save as a Custom List using the Save List option. The Save Custom Reinsurer List dialog box displays.

    3. Specify the list type.

      • Reinsurer List: Save the results as a Reinsurer List for use in Custom Reports. The FEIN/AIIN is saved with the company name.

      • Company List: Save the results as a Company List. Only reinsurers with AMB numbers are saved to the Custom Company List. Use the Custom Company List in any BestLink page allowing for company list selection.

    1. Enter the name for your list in the text box.

    2. Click the Save button to complete the save process.

    3. Optional: Select Create Report to run the custom report based on the selected information.
