Non-Standard Auto Company List and Totals

Non-Standard Auto Companies - AM Best has defined the “NSA predominating” threshold as being over 50% of a company’s Private Passenger Auto premiums, or a material share of the industry’s non-standard auto premiums. Typically, NSA companies write sub-standard or non-preferred private passenger automobile risks at a surcharge through special rating plans.

The following AMB numbers represent totals within the Non-Standard Auto report only. They are not searchable in any other database and only pertain to the Non-Standard Auto report.

Totals

099017 - Other High Risk - The total of the non-standard auto companies that do not qualify to be listed on the Non-Standard Auto Companies report, but are considered high risk.

099018 - All High Risk - The total of the affiliated and unaffiliated companies listed on the Non-Standard Auto Companies report plus the total for Other High Risk (099017).

099019 - All Others - The total of affiliated and unaffiliated companies that write the line of business, but are not considered high risk.
