Export Data Definitions

Export the BestLink identification for general information, fields, states, and lines of business. Use the data definitions to quickly update custom reports.  

Select Data Definitions from the More Resources group button.

• Export Field Definitions

Export the general information fields or the field definition information for any of the databases in which you subscribe. Only one database can be exported at a time.

1. Choose a database from the Select a product from the drop-down list.

2. Click the Export Field Definitions button.

The exported field definitions include the field identifier, field name, page, column, line information and the NAIC field description for all fields within the selected database.  

• Export Lines Definitions

Export the line definition information for any of the databases in which you subscribe.  

1. Choose a database from the Select a product from the drop-down list.

2. Click the Export Line Definitions button.

The exported line definitions include the line code, line name and the NAIC line description for all lines within the selected database.  

• Export State Definitions

Export the state definition information.

1. Click the Export State Definitions button.

The exported state definitions include the state code, state abbreviation, state name and the associated states/regions information.
