AM Best Online Help
Choose from a wide selection of AM Best Standard Reports that include sophisticated analysis on individual companies as well as comparison and composite reports to benchmark an insurer's performance against that of other companies.
Product Subscriptions determine report availability.
Note: Rating-related information displayed for AM Best Rating Units identified with a (G) or (SG) in the Company Name are derived from its legal entity group members.
Access Standard Reports from the Create Reports menu.
Step 1: Select a Report Style:
Select Company Specific or Peer Comparison. The Available Reports section refreshes with the appropriate reports.
Step 2: Select a Company List:
Select a company list from the Company Lists panel.
See Locate companies for methods on creating company lists.
or
Create a new Custom Company List using the Create text link. After creating the company list, BestLink automatically returns to Standard Reports to continue with the report process.
The Companies panel populates with the companies contained in the selected list.
Step 3: Select Companies:
The Companies panel automatically selects all companies within the active company list. Additional company details including company attributes and rating unit identifier display.
Modify the company selection as desired. Use the Clear All/Select All text link to assist in company selection.
Step 4: Select a Report
Available reports are determined by the company selection and product subscriptions. Available reports may not apply to all selected companies.
If necessary, select the View available reports text link to display available reports for the selected companies.
Choose the desired report.
The Report Information and the Report Summary update with the selected report.
The Report Information provides details about the report including a description, the minimum and maximum companies required, the available industries, and the database source.
You many need to modify company selection based on the maximum number of companies allowed for the report.
Step 5: Create Report:
Select additional report details, as needed.
Best's Peer and Industry Comparison reports only: Select the Industry Type, if required.
Best's Executive Summary Comparison and Composite reports only: Select the appropriate primary company from the drop-down list.
Global Standard only: Select the desired currency.
Best's Financial Suite - UK only: Select LookUp Items, if required.
Click the Select Lookup button in the Lookup Items panel.
From the Select Lookups dialog box, select all appropriate Lookups.

Click OK.
Click the Create Report button in the Report Summary panel.
