Custom Report Wizard - Select Fields

From the Custom Report Wizard, use the Fields step to choose fields for inclusion in your custom report.

Important:  

    • Schedules D, F & S are not included in the Custom Report Wizard

    • Schedule P cannot be combined with any other product's database. 

    • Best's Financial Suite - UK databases cannot be combined with any other product's database. 

 

  1. Select fields for the report from custom or standard lists, or perform a search directly from within the wizard. Build customized lists for the report using any combination of the following. Not all options are available for every subscription.

    • Custom: The Custom tab provides access to previously created custom field lists.  

      1. Select a list from Custom Field List or Shared Field List. The list items populate the Available Fields section.

      2. Select the fields for the report.

    • Statement: The Statement tab provides access to the statutory filing data fields.  

      1. Select a statement page or form from the appropriate country, industry and filing period option. The list items populate the Available Fields section.

      2. Select the fields for the report.

    • Standard: The Standard tab provides access to General Information and Standard Field Lists. Standard Field Lists are organized by country, industry and filing period option.

      1. Select a list from any available Standard List. The list items populate the Available Fields section.

      2. Select the fields for the report.

    • QAR: The QAR tab provides access to the data fields available in the Quantitative Analysis Reports. The fields are organized by country, industry and data period.

      1. Select a field list from the appropriate industry and data period option. The list items populate the Available Fields section.

      2. Select the fields for the report.

    • Search: Use the Search tab to locate fields within a specific industry.

      1. Select the Industry/Filing Period you wish to search.

      2. Optional: Further define your search using any combination of the following options:

        • Select a Page/Form

        • Select a Column

        • Select a Line

        • Enter Search Term

      1. Click the Search button to locate fields. Fields matching the search populate the Available Fields section.

      2. Select the fields for the report.

  1. Optional: Save the selected fields as a custom list.

    1. Optional: Select the Share List checkbox to share this field list with your coworkers.

    2. Enter a name for the custom list in the textbox.  

    3. Click Save.  
      Shared lists may not be immediately available to new subscribers.  

  2. Click Next to continue.
