How do I purchase Best's Market Share Reports?

Best's Market Share Reports can be selected by going to Best's Property/Casualty Center, www.ambest.com/pc. There you will be prompted through the report selection process, where you will choose the report type and select the states and lines of business for which you wish to see reports. Keep in mind that pricing is based on one state and one line; each additional state and line is considered a separate report and will be priced separately.

What payment options are available?

You can pay for your Best's Market Share Report with a credit card or your Best's Online Account. If you prefer not to give your credit card information over the Internet, you can call Customer Service at (908) 439-2200, ext. 5742, to complete your purchase after making your report selections online.

How much do Best's Market Share Reports cost?

The One-Year Premiums and Loss Study is $215 per report; the Five-Year Trend Study is $455 per report; the Five-Year Premiums and Adjusted Loss Ratio Study is $330 per report. Keep in mind that a report consists of one state for one line of business. For example, if you select Private Passenger Auto in the state of California, that is a single report; if you select private Passenger Auto in California and Nevada, separate reports will be created for that line in those two states, and you will be charged for two reports. Similarly, if you select more than one line of business, separate reports will be created for each line in each of the states you select.

How will my Best's Market Share Reports be delivered to me?

Once you've purchased a report, a link to the report and a purchase receipt will be e-mailed to you so you can access the report online. You can also access the report and your purchase information from the A.M. Best Member Center, www.ambest.com/membercenter. You will have online access to the report for 14 days from the date of purchase. During that time it is suggested that you print or download the report for later use.

You can print or access the report, as well as download the data, for up to 14 days from the time of purchase. On the 15th day, your purchase will show up in your transaction history, but the report will no longer be available.

Best's State/Line (Property/Casualty Lines) contains all the information displayed in Best's Market Share Reports, for all states and lines of business. Best's State/Line (Life Lines) and Best's State/Line (Accident & Health Lines) are also available.
