Current Office: U.S. House
Former independent newspaper publisher, Yarmuth is serving his first term after being elected in 2006. He serves on the House Education and Labor Committee and is a co-sponsor of "Michelle's Law," which would bar group health insurers from cancelling dependent coverage for college students who must take a leave of absence due to illness or injury.
