Sununu attended college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and earned a master's in business from Harvard University. He was elected to the U.S. House in 1996, and to the U.S. Senate in 2002. He serves on the Finance Committee, the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Joint Economic Committee.
