Current Office: State Senator
Titus attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., earned a master's degree from the University of Georgia and took her doctorate from Florida State University. She teaches political science at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Elected to the Nevada State Senate in1988, she was later elected its Minority Leader in 1993. She was defeated by Gov. Jim Gibbons in the state's 2006 gubernatorial race.
