Tim Walberg

Tim Walberg earned his bachelor's degree from Taylor University (formerly Fort Wayne Bible College), and a master's degree from Wheaton College. He served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1998, and worked as a pastor and division manager for Chicago's Moody Bible Institute while living in Michigan. Walberg defeated Sharon Reiner in November 2006 for the U.S. House seat in Michigan's 7th Congressional District.
