Current Office: Kansas state senator.
With a background in the hospitality industry, Jordan became founding president of the Overland Park Convention and Visitors Bureau in 1983. In 1995, was appointed by then-Gov. Bill Graves to fill the seat vacated by former state Sen. Gus Bogina, and was re-elected in 1996, 2000, and 2004.
