William Jenkins, CPCU
is Chief Information Officer at Penn National Insurance and a former chairman
of ACORD. He has also served as senior vice president and COO of a large
regional insurance brokerage firm and sits on the advisory board of two
insurance IT solution providers. Jenkins is a former senior vice president
of information services at General Accident Insurance. Jenkins has been
a member of ACORD's Board since 1994, chairing the Operations Committee
and serving on the Executive Committee. He previously served as Chairman
of the Board of ACORD in 1998 and 1999. He sits on the Board of Directors
of the Philadelphia Insurance Society.
Steven Landberg
is the managing partner of Claymore Partners, an executive search and
consulting firm specializing in working with leading insurance and financial
service organizations. He has over 25 years of executive search, organizational
and management consulting experience in the financial services arena.
Mr. Landberg has previously served as a financial services partner with
Gemini Consulting, Nextera, InSearch Worldwide, and Sibson Consulting
as well as held senior executive positions with Citicorp, GE Capital,
and PepsiCo.
John Pogas is vice president for Internet & e-commerce for Affinity Insurance Services – a division of Aon Corp. He is responsible for the development, management and oversight of Affinity’s highly successful e-commerce initiatives, which are responsible for over 30% of all new business at Affinity. In addition to managing the day to day operations for the Affinity Web Team, John also serves as the chairman of Affinity’s Internet Steering Committee. John has been with Aon for over 8 years and has lectured extensively on e-commerce best practices. With over 16 years experience in the utilization and marketing of new and emerging technologies, his prior work experiences include positions with Day-Timer Technologies and Keyboard Publishing.
Pat Saporito is Director, Insurance Solutions at Business Objects. She has over 20 years in the Insurance industry. She has also served as VP and Practice Director for the Insurance Industry Strategies service at META Group. Past industry employers include Insurance Services Office, American Re-Insurance, AIG, The Hartford and Merchants Insurance Group. Pat holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation and is past president of the Society of Insurance Research.
Michael T. Wise is vice president of IdeaStar Insurance Technologies and a frequent writer on insurance technology issues. He is a veteran of several E-Fusion conferences and presentations. With over twenty years in technology and sales in three different industries, Mike brings a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience to e-Commerce projects.
