The E-Fusion Award is designed to highlight outstanding, resourceful use of technology as applied to business strategy in the insurance industry. In 2008, three finalist projects were selected during a preliminary round of judging. Each finalist then presented his or her company's project in a Webinar hosted by the A.M. Best Company. Finalists had 40 minutes, including time for Q&A, to explain their project, its business purposes, strategy, technological innovations and results. Judges had the opportunity to directly question the finalists, and the online audience also had a chance to submit questions and feedback.
