At E-Fusion 2006, attendees heard from insurance leaders, strategists and business technologists on topics such as:

• How new technologies are creating new distribution, strategic and product-development opportunities.
• What new regulations, legislation and legal developments are emerging that will raise the bar for insurer compliance--most of which must be addressed through some application of technology.

The E-Fusion Awards are designed to highlight outstanding, resourceful use of technology as applied to business strategy in the insurance industry. The projects, products or services must have been introduced or redeveloped recently and be directly related to the business of insurance. Recipients were announced in the following categories:
