Michael Edwards joined American Skyline Insurance Co. in 1998 as executive vice president of information technology. Michael's unique combination of talents in information technology and insurance has brought American Skyline to the forefront of the insurance and technology industry. Michael has more than 20 years of IT experience and quickly rose to the top of the industry as IT director for the Wall Street Journal when he oversaw the Dow Jones & Company's Washington D.C. regional offices. Michael was also project manager and operations manager for USF&G and The Hartford Insurance Co. A graduate of the University of Maryland National Leadership Institute and The Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership Program, Michael is an active church and community leader.

William B. Jenkins, CPCU, is a former chairman of ACORD. He has also served as senior vice president and COO of a large regional insurance brokerage firm and sits on the advisory board of two insurance IT solution providers. Jenkins is a former senior vice president of information services at General Accident Insurance. There he was responsible for application development, technical services, telecommunications, technology planning, agency systems, client services, and data security/recovery; he was a director of two companies in the General Accident organization. Jenkins has been a member of ACORD's Board since 1994, chairing the Operations Committee and serving on the Executive Committee. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of ACORD in 1998 and 1999. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Insurance Society.

Chuck Johnston has more than 19 years of experience as an IT professional in the life insurance and financial services industry. Prior to joining Callidus Software, he was Vice President and Director, Insurance Information Strategies at META Group for 3+ years, responsible for managing META Group's insurance research agenda and vertical analysts, providing strategic insight into industry trends, technology offerings and strategic consulting services to insurance and financial services companies. Prior to META Group, he held various IT and business leadership positions at Phoenix Home Life Mutual Insurance.

Matthew Josefowicz is the manager of Celent Communications' insurance group in the firm's New York office. Mr. Josefowicz's current research focuses on e-business, IT infrastructure, and IT management strategies for insurers.
Mr. Josefowicz has been widely quoted in the press, including the New York Times, Financial Times, Chicago Sun-Times, Risk & Insurance, and Best's Review, and has written columns for Insurance Networking News, Insurance & Technology, and National Underwriter.
He has spoken on e-finance and technology issues at many conferences, including those sponsored by AM Best, Insurance & Technology, LOMA, and ACORD. He was on the keynote analyst panel at the 2004 LOMA/ACORD Systems Forum, and was an invited presenter at I&T's Executive Summit in 2003.

Rita Tedesco is group vice president for the Information Services Division at A.M. Best Company. She has been with A.M. Best since 1984 and has nearly 30 years experience in the information technology industry. She oversees data center, application development and statistical production across mainframe and network platforms. Her responsibilities are focused on the internal processing of insurance financial information in support of analysis and product development initiatives.

Robert Litt is a partner in KPMG's Midwest Information Risk Management Practice. He has 19 years of work experience in performing a variety of auditing and advisory services to insurance and other financial services clients.
Mr. Litt currently serves primarily insurance clients providing various information technology risk management advisory services. These services include information security assessment and improvement projects, business continuity and disaster recovery development projects, business systems controls evaluation and enhancement initiatives, Sarbanes Oxley IT control evaluation and remediation activities, as well as several other IT risk management services.
Over the years, he has served such clients as Aon Corporation, Nationwide Companies, Bank One, Kemper Insurance Companies, Employers Reinsurance, Jones Lang Lasalle, Winterthur Companies, HSBC.
Bob is the Midwest leader of KPMG's Security, Privacy and Continuity Team. He has spoken on many IT risk topics including information security trends and leading practices, business continuity management, Sarbanes Oxley, and SAS 70s.

Thomas A. Meyers is senior vice president and chief financial officer; New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co.
After completing his bachelor's degree at Houghton College in 1976, Mr. Meyers received his M.B.A. from The State University of New York at Buffalo in 1978. His extensive experience at NJM ranges from EDP Auditor in November 1981 to being elected a Director of New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co. and its insurance subsidiaries in April 2003. Mr. Meyers holds the professional certifications of CPA, CFA and CPCU.

Phil Roeper is the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of American Re Insurance Co. He is a member of American Re's Senior Management Group. He has responsibility for managing the company's information technology group supporting American Re's business processes and activities.
Mr. Roeper has more than 20 years experience in management and technical positions and previously held the position of Vice President of Network, Infrastructure and Operations for American Re-Insurance Company. He was responsible for computer operations, help desk, voice and data networking, Internet and groupware services, and advanced technology evaluation. Mr. Roeper was responsible for building and running the Munich Re group's global network, and representing American Re on Munich Re's Global I.T. committee.
Previously, he was the Director of Global Network Services for DHL Systems, Inc. in Burlingame CA. While at DHL he was responsible for the engineering and operation of the company's global network, which provided services to locations in over 160 countries. He was the Chairman of the global Communications User Group overseeing technical architecture and strategy and DHL's nominated board member of the SITA Company. Prior to this, Mr. Roeper was DHL's Director of Infrastructure Services, responsible for software development of global infrastructure products. He also has previous management and software development experience with Comtext, ITT, and Marconi Communications.
Mr. Roeper holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, England. He is a Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers.

Lee McDonald is vice president of communications at A.M. Best Company. He oversees the company's news publications, sales promotion and production teams. The publications all focus on the insurance industry and include Best's Review magazine, BestWeek, BestWire and BestDay, an online news service.
He joined A.M. Best six years ago as editor of Best's Review. He spent 13 years with the Gannett Co.

James Snee is vice president for the Information Services Division at A.M. Best Company. He has been with A.M. Best since 1994 and has over 17 years experience in the software industry. His responsibilities at A.M. Best focus on managing various IT initiatives, including the A.M. Best Web site, e-business and online applications; development of financial software products; and internal systems to support various corporate projects such as Best's Ratings.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and a Master's Degree in Business from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Paul C. Tinnirello is executive vice president and chief information officer for the Information Services Division at A.M. Best Company. During his more than 20 years at A.M. Best he has been involved in all phases of IT and is currently responsible for all enterprise technology including corporate infrastructure, financial software product development and e-business/e-commerce development. He holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Kean University and a master's degree in software engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a 2001 recipient of the NJIT Alumni Achievement Award.
Paul is the author/editor of a series of IT books from Auerbach/CRC Press including the "Best Practice Series in Project Management" and "New Directions in Project Management." He regularly contributes to various IT industry publications on management trends in the e-commerce business sector and served as a graduate and undergraduate instructor for state and local colleges in New Jersey. Paul is also a member of the academic advisory board for the College of Computing Sciences at NJIT and was a founding member of the Software Management Association. His past work experiences include Dupont Chemical, IFF and AT&T.
